Prized by certain cultures for it's aphrodisiac qualities, rhinoceros' horns carry a certain mystique, but new research from the University of Ohio strips some of the magic from the rhino appendage.
By examining heads of rhinos that had died of natural causes and were donated by the Phoenix Zoo, the scientists discovered new details about the horn's structural materials, and how they contribute to the shape of the horn.
