We've estimated the costs of protecting these animals at $250,000
per year. In addition to food, costs such as reinforcing fences
and providing vehicles for the RPUs (Rhino Protection Units
that patrol for poachers) can add up quickly. Below are some

our Sumatrans from poachers. Rhinos can recover. This
was proven by the recovery of the South African White
Rhinoceros from twenty to several thousand. Let's give
